What is Body Balance?
Body Balance is the process of re-learning Universal Movements. Universal Movements are the elements that make up all motion. These moves include standing, bending, sitting, turning, lying or walking as well as the transitions in between.
Universal Movements are the foundation for all complex motion. Until these basic movements are properly learned or re-learned, all additional motion is compromised. Improper motion leads to injury and pain. This is why Body Balance is so important!
In more developed countries, people have lost the understanding of the Universal Movements. Body Balance brings back this lost knowledge. Photos of Body Balance classes will help you see for yourself how you can benefit from this.
Here are some ways to achieve Body Balance using the McCall Method:
- Take a Body Balance class.
- Practice walking/wogging.
- Learn about the benefits of Barefoot Walking
- Schedule a physical therapy session with Lisa Ann.
