Gardening 101

Have you seen the documentary The Blue Zones?

The part I loved in this documentary was the delay in aging due in part to how they moved...not just that they moved. Gardening is a big part of their movements. It's very natural to bend and squat. Most people have no idea the depth of skill there is in doing and enjoying this activity.

Get your hands dirty! Okay, You don't HAVE to get your hands dirty. You can do everything in this short video indoors if the heat is a challenge. The mindset that we have others do manual labor for us and we will just "workout" is not holding up in the aging Western world. We forgot something so important ......that we are connected to our body. That means it's designed to work well if we give it our attention. We just forgot how to do that. If you don't use it (you know the line), you lose it!

If it's weight, balance issues, pain, or avoiding joint replacements, it doesn't matter. It's time to get free and have some fun! I'm here to make what seems complex and maybe impossible for you fun and easy. Yes, I said easy...It's much harder to be limited in your body's ability to move than to learn how to move well AT ANY AGE!

Perspective is everything. Drop the story you are telling yourself of why you can't move well or without pain. Just take the first steps in this video, and let me know how it goes.
